Our Services

Support that fits the way life is actually lived.

Every family's situation is different. Ardelle Health offers flexible non-medical care designed around daily routines, changing needs, and the kind of help that makes home easier to manage.

Personal care

01

Personal Care

Some everyday tasks become harder long before someone is ready to leave home. Personal care provides hands-on help while allowing the client to stay in familiar surroundings.

  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Dressing
  • Toileting
  • Mobility assistance
  • Transfers
  • Oral and skin care
  • Help with everyday personal routines

Personal care is built around what the client can still do for themselves and where they need an extra set of hands.

02

Companion Care

Sometimes the biggest need is not medical. It is having someone there.

  • Conversation and social interaction
  • Activities at home
  • Supervision
  • Errands
  • Shopping
  • Meal support
  • Accompaniment for everyday outings
  • Help maintaining a normal routine

Companion care can be especially helpful for someone who lives alone, is becoming less socially active, or simply benefits from having regular support during the week.

Respite care

03

Respite Care

Family caregivers need time to be spouses, sons, daughters, parents, and people with lives of their own.

Temporary support while the regular family caregiver:

  • Goes to work
  • Attends appointments
  • Runs errands
  • Travels
  • Rests
  • Spends time with other family members

Respite can be scheduled occasionally or as part of a regular care routine depending on the family's needs.

04

Homemaking & Daily Living Support

Keeping up with a home can become just as difficult as keeping up with personal care.

  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Grocery shopping
  • Errands
  • Changing bed linens
  • Organizing frequently used household items
  • Help maintaining everyday routines

This is light household support connected to the client's care needs — not full residential cleaning or housekeeping service.

Dementia and memory support

05

Dementia & Memory Support

Memory changes can make familiar routines more difficult and can place a growing load on the entire family.

  • Familiar routines
  • Companionship
  • Supervision
  • Gentle reminders
  • Personal care
  • Meal and hydration routines
  • Support with everyday activities
  • Respite for family caregivers

Ardelle does not diagnose or medically treat dementia. Our role is to provide non-medical support that helps make everyday life at home more manageable.

06

Post-Hospital Support

Coming home from the hospital or rehabilitation can be a relief, but the first few days and weeks may also be the hardest.

  • Bathing and dressing
  • Mobility around the home
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Transportation or errands
  • Following established daily routines
  • General supervision and companionship

Medical questions, medication changes, wound care, and other clinical needs should be directed to the client's healthcare provider or home health provider.

Extended and 24-hour care

07

Extended & 24-Hour Care

Some families need more than a short visit. Ardelle can arrange longer blocks of non-medical support based on the client's needs and caregiver availability.

  • Extended daytime shifts
  • Evening support
  • Overnight assistance
  • Around-the-clock scheduling using multiple caregivers when appropriate
  • Personal care
  • Supervision
  • Companionship
  • Daily living support

Extended care is non-medical support — not skilled nursing or medical monitoring.

Specialized in-home support

08

Specialized In-Home Support

Not every client fits neatly into one category. Some situations require a more customized combination of non-medical support.

  • Personal care
  • Supervision
  • Mobility support
  • Daily routine assistance
  • Companion care
  • Household support
  • Family respite

Services are based on the client's care plan and must remain within Ardelle Health's Pennsylvania Home Care Agency scope.

Tell Us What You Need

Not sure which type of care fits?

"Mom is mostly independent but is alone all day."

Companion Care may be a good place to start.

"Dad needs help bathing and getting dressed."

Personal Care may be appropriate.

"I'm caring for my spouse and need a break a few times a week."

Respite Care may help.

"My parent is coming home from rehab and needs help getting through the day."

Post-Hospital Support may be worth discussing.

These examples are only a starting point. Ardelle can help families talk through the situation and determine which non-medical services may fit.
